Or whatever is applicable to you . The real gift that keeps on giving, mom’s house is somewhat untouched by the passage of time. Break out the LPs:
Yes, that’s an aluminum tree with a color wheel, one of 3 or 4 trees she puts up every year. Gotta love the me generation and their love of collecting and keeping everything:

I have been regularly criticized throughout my life for throwing things out/donating much of my worldly possessions. Only thing I wish I had back was my Pikachu S pecial E dition Game Boy Color.
From a financial standpoint, I should have apparently hoarded all of my old LEGO sets. I was the kid who take the apart and made my own mehhhh unimpressive stuff, even switching around pieces of the people to make my own color-coordinated “armies.” I had this thing, as an example...

Same to you!

Yes, vintage Lego can be quite collectible. I’ve found a few sets at yard sales and flipped them for a nice ROI.

Hey, Mister. I was casting about for a random post of yours to send you a note and I stumbled upon this one, which I missed at Christmastime. I love the photo of the tree. What’s your mom’s age? Mine’s 80 and I am happy to say that I’m emptying the bags of old hurt and pain and replacing them with standard-issue 80-year-old-lady annoyance, which makes the bags much easier to carry.
I wanted to show you this article . I think it’s worthy perspective as we consider the pardons in the midst of President Trump’s political arson. What do you think of, or say about, the NY Post as a source?

My mom is in her early 70s, but she’s a bigtime collector, and likes things from certain eras. She’s still in pretty decent shape compared to many her age, just starting to slow down a little. I am thankful I’ve had no drama with her over time, but I thinks she keeps her feelings to herself too much.
NY Post isn’t something I intentionally read, I will say that much - lots of clickbait and exaggeration, if not real misinformation, in its headlines. I see Clinton like a sleazy used car salesman, definitely not free from sin. Not as bad as the current shitshow, at least in my opinion. I expect the cult to latch on to that article and use it for their typical whataboutism in light of today’s crazy big pardon. 45 said he was against corruption, and the mouth breathing rubes believed it. Or rather, they don’t care, as long as their own personal tax liability is $100 less. I’m waiting for him to pardon daddy Kushner next.

Does Daddy Kushner have convictions?
I think we can view Bill Clinton and his wife as trailblazers of crookedness in the current era. That Trump is flagrant goes without argument, but Bubba and Hillary are very crooked and provided plenty of whataboutedness for the current mess.
The Democratic nomination process is becoming downright amusing. It’ll be fun to watch if Mayor Mike manages to kayo all the opposition and we can replace one misfit billionaire populist with another.

Charles Kushner is inheritance elite trash, a perfect fit for 45's family:

Funny thing, Chris Christie was behind his prosecution, and I believe this is big reason why he fell out of favor. Beware of how you treat the family of glorified mobsters.
I don’t particularly like Mike - a middle of the road corporatist billionaire from the luckiest generation might not be who we need (but at least he doesn’t lie about his net worth), but I’ll still cast my ballot for anyone but 45.

Donald Trump has brought much political arson, but this latest batch of pardons really troubles me. He has zero respect for law and will the judges he has appointed all feel the same?

I believe they’ll act no matter how they feel - it’s all about preserving position and income. And who knows which entitled spoiled old drunken fratboy he’ll appoint next.
One has to wonder who will be pardoned next, after today’s idiocy, could be anyone.
